Kirkland, Wash. – With the bright lights of Las Vegas as the backdrop, the Evergreen Healthcare Web site recently received two eHealthcare Leadership Awards at the annual Healthcare Internet Conference.
The newly designed Web site – located at www.evergreenhealthcare.org – was launched last June yet won the Gold Award for Best Overall Internet Site and Best Site Design. Both awards were won in the classification of hospitals with between 200 and 399 beds.
“We are thrilled to receive two national awards for our new Web site,” said Mark Woodward, director of Marketing for Evergreen Healthcare who attended the conference and accepted both awards on behalf of Evergreen. “These two categories received the most entries and the competition was intense.”
More than 100 individuals familiar with health care and the Internet evaluated more than 1,200 entries. Judges reviewed sites based on a multi-point standard of Internet excellence.
To qualify for the Best Overall Internet Site award, a Web site must deliver strong health content, interactivity, medical care and e-business support, as well as strong web design with easy navigation. Sites nominated for the Best Site Design award need to display unusual, attractive and engaging web design that facilitate access to key site information while provide strong branding for the hospital.
